Rashad Brown

Rashad Brown is the Membership Director at KUOW Public Radio in Seattle.

Rashad is a Pacific Northwest native and has worked in the public media community in San Francisco as the Sustaining Membership Manager at KQED and was part of the team that transitioned Classical KING FM from commercial to a listener-supported public station back in 2011.

Public media has the power to inspire, empower, uplift, and inform our audiences across our communities and he’s passionate about keeping this public service accessible, free, and available to all.

Rashad is extremely grateful for the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Public Media Leadership Bootcamp and become a stronger, more effective leader.

Outside of fundraising he enjoys oil painting and creating bold art on huge canvasses.
