“The PMWL mentorship program provided the structure for us to set and stay focused on goals, helping me as a first-time mentor understand my role and keep us on track… Through my mentorship experience, I had a chance to meet a public media colleague I had much in common with and celebrate success with her; Serving in the role of mentor also helped me gain a new perspective on my own work and insights on others' experiences.”

MENTORING

The Public Media Women in Leadership Mentor Program caters to the professional and leadership development journeys of women and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers on the experiences of women in public media through the facilitation of one-on-one mentoring partnerships.

AMBASSADORS

Ambassadors bring fresh and current perspectives to the forefront of the organization  by tapping into the diverse talent of women within our industry. Ambassadors serve as conveners and advocates for PMWL by participating in a variety of roles including research and content leads, webinar producers, social media experts, event moderators/hosts/facilitators, among others.

CONNECTION HOURS

Connection Hour, a membership perk for PMWL's individual sustaining and one-time supporters, are virtual networking mixers designed to convene thought-provoking convos that are fun and interesting, and not a waste of time. In a world where we’re all in need of some work + life balance, these meetups are designed to open your mind and expand your thinking with a dash of socializing and networking.

SWEET AND SOUR CHATS

Our monthly Sweet and Sour chats are a safe space focusing on the experience of thriving through chaos. All are welcome, especially those who want and are willing to share their story.
