CEO/COO Bootcamp
How much does participating in the Boot Camp cost?
The station / organization of the participating fellow will be invited to donate $2,000 to contribute to our in-person training fund for fellows in the Bootcamp. If the station / organization cannot donate on behalf of their fellow, we have sponsors who will provide scholarships for fellows in need.
Who can participate in the Boot Camp?
The program has reserved 75% of slots for women and gender expansive individuals from all backgrounds and 25% of slots for men of color.
What is the time commitment?
Each cohort is set to last 6 months where the approximate time commitment is 21 hours per month. The total hours is based on 4 hours each week attending live courses, 1 hour a week of coursework and 1 hour a month of peer group engagement.
What is the format of the Boot Camp?
The Boot Camp is fully virtual, with exception of our end of cohort event set to take place May 2024 for the third cohort.
What kind of engagement will fellows experience after participating in the Boot Camp?
Fellows can expect to have the support of the nominating committee which is composed of industry leaders in the form of personal references for when fellows seek out leadership positions in the industry. This is in an effort to provide sponsorship and continued support for the rising stars that participate in the program.
How many nominations should be submitted per candidate?
Only one nomination should be submitted per candidate. The nominating committee takes into account the quality, rather than the quantity, of the nominations submitted on behalf of a fellow. More nominations do not equal a higher chance of being selected. Thank you for focusing on making a strong case on behalf of the fellow you’re nominating.
